Enter Patron ID If a student does not know their ID, there is a 'rolodex' of IDs next to the check-in computers in the Library 4. Scan Barcode Once on the patron's 'dashboard,' scan barcode to checkout item 5. Reset Remember to click "Reset" after checking out all items

Accessing Linked-In learning through Boston Public Library
Every Massachusetts resident 13 and older is eligible to access the Boston Public Library's eCatalog, which includes the excellent technology training site Linked-In Learning. For students younger than 13, we recommend a parent create a library account on their student's behalf. Follow these instructions to create your Boston Public Library eCard and get started at Lynda.com 1. Create a new BPL eCard Account Visit www.bpl.org in your favorite web browser. In the "Services" menu, select eCards 1.1. Get an eCard Click get or Renew Your eCard 1.2. Follow the process to gain an eCard Read the information, then click Proceed. 1.3. Proceed. 1.4. Enter your information Complete the form. Note, you can provide Meadowbrook's address (school address) if you are moving into the area and wish to register your eCard before your home address is known. 1.5. Email and Pin Enter your birthday, email and a PIN you will remember. If under 13, please sign up with a parent's information. 1.6. Registration complete. The registration is complete. Check your email for further instructions. 1.7. Email confirmation The email will contain your eCard Number. Store this number in an easy to access place. 2. Accessing LinkedinLearning.com The courses are only available through the Boston public library website. Logins will not work directly through linkedin! From the BPL.org home page, go to Books & More, then Online Resources 2.1. Under Learning Tools, select Online Courses 2.2. Find and select LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) 2.3. Click Get Started 3. Setup your LinkedIn Learning Account Enter your library card number and PIN 3.1. Create your profile. You can select any topic from the list. Select a weekly goal. 3.2. Your account is created. Congrats, you now have access to the video tutorials through the Boston Public Library. 3.3. Using a Course You can now search for courses and view video tutorials. How do I book the Library Study Rooms?
1. Sign in to your Meadowbrook Google account 2. Open the appointment booking calendar for the room you want to book by clicking on the room name below: Library Study Room 1 (LC-323B) Library Study Room 2 (LC-323C) 3. You will now see the calendar for the room you chose. It looks like this: 4. Open slots are shown in gray. Click on one that you would like to book. A menu will pop up that looks like this: 5. If the information looks correct, click "save". This will book the room and add an event to your Google calendar. You are all set to use the room at your selected time. How do I cancel my booking? 1. Sign in to your Meadowbrook Google account 2. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar 3. Find and click on the event for your booking 4. A pop-up window will appear with information about your booking. Click the trash can icon to delete the event.

How do I redeem my free New York Times Digital Subscription?
1. Click on this link to begin 2. Click "Create Account" 3. Click "Continue with Google" 4. Select your Meadowbrook Google account from the list or sign into it now. If you are using Google Chrome, make sure you are signed in with your Meadowbrook Google account. It may automatically recognize your account and move you to the next step. 5. Select "Student" or "Faculty/Staff". If you select "Student" you will also need to put in your graduation year and an alternative email address. Once finished, select "Sign Up" 6. You are finished creating your account. You can now log in to the New York Times website or app with your Meadowbrook Google account.
