Airtame - Advanced Usage & FAQ
Manual Mode - Adjusting Quality, Framerate, & Delay
Manual Mode is an Airtame setting that allows you to have more control over how your projection comes out. This is also how the majority of technical issues will be solved.
1. To access Manual Mode, go the the main Airtame window, and click "Preferences" in the bottom left corner.

2. The first setting you see should be for Manual Mode. If it is set to "Off", click the button to enable it.

3. You should now have the following options.

Quality: There are 6 settings: Minimum, Low, Medium, High, Higher, and Maximum. The default is Medium. If your picture quality isn't very good, try increasing the quality level. If your projection is having a hard time keeping up, consider reducing the quality level.
Framerate (FPS): This controls the framerate of the projection. The default is 20fps. If you are showing a video and you are losing a lot of the frames of the video, try increase the FPS to 30 or more. If you aren't showing a video but are having a hard time with performance, consider lowering the FPS.
Buffer: This controls how long it takes between when you do things on your device, and those things being projected. The default is 1s. If you are having problems with projection, this is a really good place to start - increasing the buffer time will allow the Airtame to stabilize what you're projecting. We recommend a 2s buffer or more if you are having issues.
Audio: Enables or disables audio as part of your projection.
Resolution: Allows you to pick either 720p or 1080p as your projection resolution. The default is 1080p. If you are having issues with projection quality or stuttering, consider changing the resolution to 720p.
Stay in manual mode: Enables manual mode by default. This is a good option if you are making changes with manual mode, to save you clicks later on.
