How do I download videos from Padlet?

Video was added to Padlet in a variety of ways:

Youtube embed
Google Drive embed
Direct recording into Padlet

YouTube

If you own the youtube video, you can download it from your account. If not, try contacting the owner of the video.

Google Drive

Similarly, if you own the video, it is already in your Drive. If it is someone else's, reach out to them to share the video with you in Google Drive.

Padlet

If you recorded directly into Padlet, you can download your own videos and some other videos that the creators set permissions for people to download.

1. Identify the video you wish to download

2. When selected, some options appear in the bottom right of the video area. Click on the download arrow. (The arrow pointing down)

3. Either the video will download or a new tab will open with just the video in it. In the bottom right of that screen, you will see options including the three dots. Click on the three dots.

4. Click on the Download option to initiate a download of this video.

If the download option is not present, contact the video owner to have them download it and then share it with you via a service such as Google Drive.
