Removing Malware from a Mac

Navigate to Avast website

Open a browser and go to www.avast.com
Click on "Free Download" button

Begin Avast Download

Click on "Download Now" button

Open Downloaded Avast Package

Locate the downloaded package (probably in your Downloads folder) and double click on it to open

Launch Installer

Double click on the package labeled "Avast Mac Security" to launch installer

Complete Install

Follow the instructions from the installer to complete the installation
