Creating, Customizing, and Reusing Rubrics
Modified on: Thu, 9 Nov 2023 8:53 AMWhen it comes to defining objectives for the students, particularly within project based learning, clear rubrics can be not only helpful but often essential. Creating these rubrics within Schoology is quite easy and helpful!
1. (Adding Rubric) Within the Grade Setup tab, you can click on the "add" button on the right and toggle down to "Rubric".
2. (Customizing Rubric) After adding the title, you can use the template to fill in the different benchmarks and how student work will be evaluated. The learning objectives is just an additional option for adding more detail about the overarching goal for the assignment and how a student can meet each objective.
3. (Reusing Rubrics) To ensure you do not have to create new rubrics constantly, Schoology allows you to save rubrics under your "Resources" folder which you can add to new courses at the beginning of each semester or school year.
